   We live in a magical world. a world where thoughts materialize.  Not immediately, but even better...when the time is right.  A world where emotion makes nothing impossible.  But pick love, and not only will anything be possible...everything will be right.  It's better than Neverland✨🌍

Give

   Will there be a deal on Ukraine? When will anyone in Israel or Palestine try something different? Will Europe ever get its act together economically? Where will the borders be drawn in the greater Middle East? Will a stable equilibrium emerge in East Asia? Will there be a deal over Iran's nuclear program? Where is Afghanistan headed? Will Obama's climate change gambit work? Will the United States, its allies, and other concerned countries come up with a better approach to "violent extremism" of the sort represented by al Qaeda, the Islamic State, and others? Can Western democracies roll back the "surveillance state"? Will North & South America's gang & drug cartel violence ever seize to exist? When will the kidnapped Nigerian girls be returned to their families? Can democratic oppositions' peaceful nonviolent tactics prevail over dictatorships? When will we act upon the knowledge that our planet is abundant enough for all its species to prosper? 

   These are some of the issues troubling governments globally today, and they can all be traced down to love. We are doing too much for ourselves, and too little for others; yet happiness truly comes from what we give, not what we get. Success isn't getting power & money; success is giving in to love, peace, happiness by working on humility, forgiveness, gratefulness, faith, service to others & God. We will keep falling to temptation where we are weak, but that's ok, because we will self-examine & work on ourselves one day at a time. Every day we will fall less, and every day it will be easier to persevere. And we must not judge those who fall again, because that only makes it harder to get back up. We must encourage, because like us they are trying, and eventually will succeed. "If you love only those who love you, what reward is there for that?" Make the world better every opportunity you get to speak. There are no small acts of kindness, because kindness is contagious

Just wanted to play

   What did I take away from this World Cup? I learned that Messi was once only an autistic little boy with a growth hormone disorder who just wanted to play footy, that Keylor Navas is the best goalkeeper in the world even though Neuer got the Golden Glove, that FIFA can change country laws for their own benefit & is cartoonishly evil -yet I can't help my addiction to their video games, that Neymar & Robben are method actors like me, that Germany built a luxury resort just for their team & then gave it back to the land's indigenous community, that Cristiano Ronaldo gets paid to take off his shirt & flex his muscles after scoring a goal, that our Brazilian brothers & sisters lost more than they gained, that James Rodriguez still kicks the ball with his heart, that Costa Rica taught the world to believe, that Tim Howard doesn't like hugs, that Amazonian birds now have stadium-size toilets to poop on, and we forgot it was just a game.

   But never forget you'll always be that beautiful kid, who once...just wanted to play. Congrats Germany, and all teams who played for love. Costa Rica

Costa Rica didn't play to "give a good performance" in the World Cup. Costa Rica played to win it. Let this be an example to all small teams, and all small spectators, who's smallness comes from believing in reaching the expectations instead of exceeding them. Happy Memorial Day✌️🌻❤️☀️

   I'd like to express my solidarity to those families who have lost their loved ones in service to their country, and to those families who live in fear of losing those who still serve today. Not only in this country, but all countries in the world; because we are all brothers & sisters in Reality. Whether the fight was for a good reason, or whether there's ever a good reason to fight, who am I to judge? But I do believe that the right way to honor their memory this Memorial Day, is by finding peace in sharing our differences with our brothers & sisters. To learn from them, and to learn that differences can be good. Happy Memorial Day✌️🌻❤️☀️ 

Regarding those we lost, I believe they will always be with us...and we will meet again.

Cupcake

   I was just riding the crosstown bus on 79th street, and there was this cute little girl eating a cupcake next to her mom, sitting directly across from me. I smiled at the little girl and gave her a thumbs up for her cupcake. without thinking about it, the little girl came up to me and handed me a piece. who am I to deny her the human satisfaction of sharing? that little piece of cupcake made my day, and sharing it made her's. let's not forget what truly makes us happy.

Whole Again

   After 7 years of not coinciding to be all together under the same roof, last week we were whole again. Thank you God for this, and for the journey that brought us back here. We've been lonely, we've cried, we've fallen, but gotten back up and learned. We can now laugh about it all together once again, yet we know the obstacles will keep coming our way. So we'll keep falling, learning, and getting back up again with the faith that it's all part of Your perfect plan. Thank you for the lessons learned from outlandish experiences, and all that's next. Ahh the stories we can now tell...we've received such wonderful gifts. Los amo tanto mis lindos.

La Noble Revolución

   Que bueno tener acceso a opiniones de primera mano acerca de los protagonistas y antagonistas de nuestra presente historia politica, provenientes de una persona aparentemente razonable -como lo es nuestro reconocido analista político y ex-guerrillero Salvadoreño-Alemán, Paolo Lüers:

Carta a Leopoldo Lopez, presente Lider de la oposición pacífica no-violenta en Venezuela.

Carta a Salvador Sanchez Cerén, presente Candidato a la Presidencia de El Salvador para un partido de izquierda (FMLN) que valora positivamente las acciones opresivas del Presidente Nicolás Maduro en Venezuela y describe su modelo de gobierno como "el faro que ilumina a latinoamerica."

No es sabio, es peligroso, no es justificable, es insensible valorar positivamente una accion o situacion de violencia, sin importar de que lado provenga. Que lindo sería ver un lider quien dé un ejemplo de paz, amor y unidad humana.

He aqui solo un par de los miles de videos en youtube que muestran lo que esta sucediendo en Venezuela:

Es importante saber en estas situaciones, que la paz, es el arma mas poderosa en una guerra de fuego. Y el que lanza la primera piedra arruina todo el progreso que se ha logrado hasta ese momento através de la movilización estratégica no-violenta:

"Violence by the defenders will be used by the putschists to justify overwhelming repression which they want to use anyhow.

It will be used to CLAIM that the putschists are saving the country from terrorism or civil war, and are preserving 'law and order.'

By placing confidence in violent means, one has chosen the very type of struggle with which the oppressors nearly always have superiority.

Engage in friendly creative communication with the functionaries and troops serving the putschists while continuing resistance.

Explain to them the reasons for the defense struggle, affirm the absence of any intended violence against them, seek to undermine the reliability, and try to induce them to be helpful to the defenders." -Gene Sharp

   FMLN, no entiendo como pueden mentirle en la cara a millones de usuarios de internet quienes hemos visto pruebas en video, grabaciones, testigos, y muchos tenemos amigos y/o parientes en Venezuela tambien quienes nos dan testimonio/evidencia de qué lado viene la violencia. No se compara la violencia y opresión constante injustificable que proviene del estado, con la que producen un par de civiles oprimidos lanza-piedras, quienes quiza no entienden la estrategia pacifica.

   Leopoldo Lopez, lider y representante de la ideologia opositora en Venezuela, ha especificado y demandado de su pueblo incontables veces la movilizacion PACIFICA NO-VIOLENTA. No se puede valorar positivamente ninguna accion o situacion de violencia, sin importar de que lado venga. Lastimosamente ya hemos visto esto antes, cuando el Señor Sanchez Ceren y sus seguidores del FMLN marcharon y quemaron banderas Estadounidenses a favor de los ataques de 9/11, apoyando abiertamente la accion terrorista. Esto no es justficable de ninguna manera...POR FAVOR! 

   Ambos partidos, tanto ARENA como el FMLN, han cometido errores y malas decisiones; pero la historia del FMLN y sus afiliados, los compromisos que tienen con grupos violentos recientemente y desde la guerra, sin mencionar sus curriculums de educacion academica y moral, no nos pueden permitir entregarles nuestro pais. Simplemente NO PODEMOS.

   Yo leo/veo los medios con escepticismo ya que mucha de la informacion que consumimos lastimosamente es propaganda, tiene como fundamento la imagen, la politica, las ganancias. Te invito a hacer lo mismo y a trazar toda informacion interesante a su fuente para facilitar el juzgarla como falsa o verdadera. Pero con la informacion que tenemos de ambos lados, con nuestra aguda percepcion natural y neutral humana que nadie toma en cuenta seriamente hoy en dia, deveras es tan dificil de creer que el Presidente Funes fue estrategia del FMLN para llegar al poder? Para que ahora en los siguientes 5 años los verdaderos deudores de armas, dinero, y recursos entren y puedan pagarles la deuda a los poderes a quienes les son leales -que los han respaldado; desde gobiernos socialistas/comunistas, hasta carteles de crimen y narcotráfico, pandilleros, mafias, paramilitares, etc. 

Votemos, sin miedos ni resentimientos sociales -que estan a raiz de nuestra desicion electoral. Votemos con mente clara, sin emocion...y en camisa blanca.

   Exijo una lista de requisitos de mi pais y de todo pais en el mundo, a seguir estrictamente al escoger candidatos presidenciales. Requisitos que incluyan historial de: alta educacion moral y academica, constante servicio comunitario, respeto a los derechos humanos, analisis psicologico, experiencia gubernamental, y mas.  Darle mas importancia a estas que a la edad ya que nosotros los jovenes hijos de la generacion de internet y medios sociales, parecemos estar aprendiendo mas rapido y expandiendo mas nuestras mentes y visiones. Creo que podemos hacer mucho mejor que esto:

   Yo creo en el potencial del socialismo moderado, el capitalismo justo, y la democracia, trabajando juntos. Pero creo mas en los seres humanos, y se que muy pronto nos daremos cuenta que: no necesitamos ni el dinero, ni las armas, ni el petroleo que buscan controlar el mundo; que la tecnologia y nuestro conocimiento ya son lo suficientemente avanzados para distribuir justamente la abundancia caracteristica del planeta Tierra a sus habitantes sin que le falte a nadie; que el dinero no es el objetivo sino la paz, el amor, y la felicidad; que el camino al exito profesional y ante Dios, viene de tener como enfoque el perseguir y construir sobre tus pasiones, y servir a la comunidad. Es crucial para el desarrollo correcto de nuestra sociedad el borrar frases toxicas como "sé vivo" ("be smart") porque indican el aprovecharse de las debilidades de otros, hacer trampa, y hasta robar. Es crucial el dejar de alabar al dinero; y empezar a meditar, orar, dar gracias a Dios; y seguir los pasos, el ejemplo de su hijo humano, Jesus. Y este cambio, esta noble revolucion, empieza en vos. Dale La Palabra, y el ejemplo desde el principio a tus hijos. "Lead by example," there is always someone who looks up to you, and who is affected by your decision & choices. We each are capable of great things on this Earth, because there are no small acts of kindness, since kindness is contagious.

Guianos en el mejor camino ahora, este 9 de Marzo, y siempre, Padre Celestial. Que se haga siempre Señor, tu voluntad. Amén.

PS: Como lider que sos en tu pais, te pido que sigas apoyando la paz, el arte, la cultura, a nuestra gente, y luchando por la unidad (porque todos somos iguales), para acabar con el miedo y resentimiento que hay entre clases sociales, que creo es la raiz de lo que estamos viendo en estas elecciones. Gane quien gane. Te invito a explorar afuera de tu comfort zone, clase social, y grupo de amigos, si no lo has hecho. Hay tanto talento, bondad, sabiduria, y otros tesoros por descubrir en este pueblo; gente que uno pensaria que necesitan mas de nosotros que nosotros de ellos, cuando el enriquecimiento quizas seria mutuo. Como has de saber, Jesus dijo "Si solo amas a quienes te aman, que recompensa hay en eso?" Religion o no, creo que son palabras a seguir, asi podemos 'lead by example' y contribuir a un mejor futuro.

   Por favor pidamos, por el bienestar de Leopoldo Lopez que hace un par de dias se entregó, por la paz en Venezuela, y por un futuro brillante para El Salvador. Tengamos lista una camisa blanca para no dormir hasta que haya paz, de Venezuela a El Salvador, a Latinoamerica, y al mundo.

   Si todos comprendieramos que individualmente si somos capaces de cosas grandes, vivieramos en otro mundo. Muchos escogemos no hacer nada ante situaciones grandes, porque pensamos "y que puede hacer una sola persona?" Hay que entender que una sola persona puede cambiar el mundo, porque el mas pequeño acto de bondad es altamente contagioso. Poco a poco son mas los mensajes positivos en las redes sociales, y poco a poco vamos conectandonos mas. Pero hay que salir del internet tambien, del "comfort zone," del grupo de amigos, de la clase social, y contagiar a otros dejando a un lado miedos y resentimientos sociales. "La oscuridad no es mas que la ausencia de la luz;" asi que sigamos trayendo esa nuestra luz, especialmente donde haya oscuridad.

Kindness

There are no small acts of kindness, because kindness is contagious; and it'd be plenty to touch one life, because one is worth infinity.

Happiness

I love researching and coming to my own conclusions on what makes, and keeps a person happy. I'll write more about what I gather in future posts; but I came across this on a Ted Talk, and I think it's a pretty great start.

Success

where is the joy in creating an idea with the focus in making money? create something with the purpose of serving the community, build on something you are passionate about. i believe that in choosing this path, success as a human being under God is in progress, and success as a professional is more likely to happen.
